"I started-up my motor the nig

"I started-up my motor the night before & it ran perfectly,idle-slow-highrpm. I get to the Gulf the next day & it won't fire----rolls over well but no spark. changed plugs because they were wet. Checked all wire connections--nothing loose,checked all fuses A-OK.
What should I do or check next? Please Help!"
 
First thing to try is remove t

First thing to try is remove the spark plugs and disconnect the engine harness plug and crank the engine by jumping a wire from the positive battery cable on the solonoid to the primary winding on the solonoid. The engine will crank. See if you have spark now. If you do the problem is in the ignition switch or harness.

I will try that tomorrow------I think you are on to something here, because this has happened before about 2 yrs. ago----they for no reason a couple weeks later the motor started & ran well for the last 2yrs.A-OK-------sounds more & more like switch. Thanks again."
