If you want someone to answer this you'll need to supply more info. Like how long is your boat. How heavy? When asking for help here try to be as specific as possible. But me knowing that boat I would think with perfect compression in all cylinders and perfect pitch on the prop you should be cruising at 20mph. Does anyone else have an opinion? This boat is a 26 feet Silverton displacement Hull and weighs 10,000LBS has 8 cyl Chrys LM318 225HP....

I think the 34 was listed as 12,000 dry.

Being said , my guess is WOT 34mph, cruising at 26mph @ 3,000 rpm.

A cruising speed of 20 mph at 3,000 rpms burning a total of 16 GPH is likely.

"Guys from what I know of this boat. Its a 1976 26 foot silverton Flybridge. It weighs 10,000 lbs and has a displacement hull. It pushes water rather than slicing through it. It Has no trim tabs. Are there any silverton flybridge owners out there who can chime in? When I had this boat the fastest I could go was about 16MPH @ 3000rpm and thats with the semi- tired LM318.
