No water stream

I buried my outboard in the mu

I buried my outboard in the muddy bottom of the river now I have no pee stream.oops Is there a way to clean the engine out or get ready to tear the lower unit down?
 
I would pull the lower unit an

I would pull the lower unit and flush (with a garden hose) backwards through the water pump to clean out all that end.

You could also jury rig up the hose to force water up the water tube and make sure you have a good flow coming out the exhaust housing (will confirm that the water jackets in the powerhead are not all clogged) and use a wire or bit of weed whacker line to poke up the tell tale hose and get the cooties out of there too...
