"My season has come to an end.

My BF 130A is at 400 hours, and the manual recomends examination and adjustment of all valves.

Should I have it done now, or wait until April 2010 at the start of next season?

Does it make a difference?"

"It does not make a difference.

I would check with your local dealer. They may give you a break in the cost of the work if it is done during winterization.

If you are doing the winterization yourself, they may have specials during the winter to do the work during the slow time. You do not have to dewinterize or run the motor to adjust the valves.

Lastly, they may have early bird discounts in the spring.

It is really up to you."
