I found a significant bit of white corrosion in the water jacket just under the power head and sharing a wall with the exhaust manifold. I suspect the area of damage is 10-15mm round and 1/2 the wall thickness deep. If it were continue to corrode it would create a hole between the upper water jacket and the exhaust. I use the motor in the ocean and rinse after every use. Is there something I can do to remove the missing metal? How serious is this? I suppose with a hole in the side wall the water pump could not cool the motor and I would find bigger problems soon. Thanks for the help.
