"1990 Force 150.Having a problem with my shift coupler disengaging all the time. The pivot pin is in place and I have moved the shift rod threaded all the way to about 8 full turns out...even adjusted the shift linkage at the motor. I've tore the lower downand put it together about 6 times now and when I think I have it, it disengages after the motor starts and I shift it. I'm being careful to make sure that the shift rod hole is in neutral when I line it up with the shifter on the motor. This is driving me nuts! Anyone have any suggestions?
