what are the differences other

what are the differences other than trim sender between a regular and hp assy? (bravo) other questions to follow. thanks R.

Are you refering to the engine designation??

454 ho/hp or 502 hp..........

If so there is no difference.

If there is a special designation for HP transom assemblies or outdrives then I am not sure.
 
transom assy. different listin

transom assy. different listings posted on the net. one is bravo transom assy. others being bravo hp transom assy. these state no trim sender provisions. was wandering about structrual makeup. ??? thanks. R.

1999 merc 7.4 mpi/ bravo 3: when i shift soft and slow it dosen't engage and shakes violently fwd or rev. when i shift hard and fast no problem. the drive shaft and all the seals replaced last year.
after engine start at idle tach is reading 3000 rpm.

Don't do that since it's not the way it's done; shift quickly. Does the engine seem to be running at 3000 RPMs?
