Hello again guys this motor has me stumped. I wanted to see if any thing obvious I am missing could be wrong.
This motor will prime up ok and start on the second pull. It will idle fine for 20 seconds then starts jerking and missing and won't stay running unless I provide throttle to keep it running. it will smooth out for 10-15 seconds or so then start jerking around like its not getting fuel. I noticed that the intake the carb screws into is very cold to the touch and almost frosty after a 3 or 4 minutes of running? The primer bulb is not soft.
Starved for gas? Fuel pump? Carb need rebuild or cleaning. When I pull the motor into gear at slow speed it sounds great and doesn't miss or want to stall??
