Good day. I have a Johnson Sea

Good day. I have a Johnson Seahorse 9.9 outboard. Was wondering if anyone can help with the fuel/oil mixture? Also how can I tell what year it is? Thanks

The model number will id the y

The model number will id the year. All engines since 1964 run on 50:1 and I dont think there were any 9.9 engines before 1974.

"Model number..... On small plate attached to port transom bracket, also on a quarter size core plug on the powerhead. This will tell us the year.
