"I have a 1998-115 60 degree engine that won't stay running, shuts off in less than 1 minute.
After it dies there is no spark with a tester, returns in a few minutes.
Things I have done:
Replaced the powerpack.
Replaced the optical sensor.
Inspected and ohm'd out the stator immediately after dieing.
Disconnected the kill wire.
Disconnected the temp senders.
Disconnected the tan wire to the powerpack from the temp senders.
Does anyone have a clue?
