i had ask on a 1978 jh0nson 25

i had ask on a 1978 jh0nson 25hp was jumping out and in gear you said clutch dog or gear had new clutch dog put in and its worse any idea will cause this. thank you
 
Some motors have a cam slot ad

Some motors have a cam slot adjustment at the shift lever to engage the shift properly in reverse and Fwd. You might see if you have the cam slot adjustment.

Do you really mean jumping back into gear as well as out?

If you do is it just a spun hub?
