"I started troubleshooting this evening and saw this (Cracked Cap on engine oil reservoir). Not sure if it happened while troubleshooting the last time or if it is the source of my alarm the last trip. I get the alarm after I get to a certain point in speed and rpm's. It's a steady alarm and stops about 1-2 minutes after being in neutral.

it should not give you a stead

it should not give you a steady alarm. a defective oil level sender will give you a series of alarms that you can shut off when bullet connectors are disconnected. (disconnect only for testing purposes if alarm shuts off then that is your problem.) but if you have a steady alarm its something else. there is not that many things that will cause an alarm.
