"Any one know if the mercruiser carbs off a 1976 mercruiser 233 carb # 1376-5744A1 are the same as the 888 models part # 1376-5659A1. I have a 888 on the shelf and want to rebuild it to use on my 233 engine, just wondering if there is any difference in the carbs, if it can be used do I order the rebuild kit for the 888 or the 233? thanks"
