"Hello all.

I need help on our VP 5.7GSI, here i go explain it all:

The engine starts fine, and the engine do not overheat. But the risers get so warm i cant touch them, the right one is worst.
1. I have new impeller
2. Have taken riser off, and it looked good. No rust at all.
3. Water comes out the impeller housing when i took it off and tried with muffs on the leg.

Can something be blocking riser? the manifold dont get warm, just the risers....So im out of ideas, and the Marina i use dont have time to help for 4 weeks. Then our vacation is over!!

Can someone please help me to get some new ideas about the problem.

Best Regards
Tom"

"I took off the thermo housing, and i found nothing. It did not have a thermostat, and seems its not had it for a long time. Was rust colour there, but no rust bits. So that means i get water to the impeller housing, but i do not get water trough the thermostat housing. What can be the problem then?"
