I beleave your motor was one that had a series of issues that should have been corrected by your dealer per Yamahas bullitians. I would encourage you contact your local dealer or Yamaha international to verify these updates were performed on your motor. serial number required. you might try a different batterie possible a plate is loose. check all relays and fuse holders. ck condition of ground from altenator. what is your batterie voltage at rest and when running? what is the batteries cca? has any wireing been done to the boat recently or new batt is there a batt switch if so run cables dirrectly to batt tighten cables with plyers not with fingers. let us know what you find
