i am installing the bearing ca

i am installing the bearing carrier on my lower gearcase and i cant find a torque spec for this. i did mark the nut and the housing to line it back up and i cant seem to reach that point by about a 1/8 of turn.
is it enough to tighten it down and bend the tab or tighten it and back it off and bend the tab?

180-190 will

180-190 will do Just bend the tab when done and be careful as if the lower is not secured prperly you can break the cavitation plate and PRESSURE CHECK the unit befor filling with gear oil. 15-17 psi for 2 minutes with NO leak down
