"My 01 Yamaha 225 EFI was not started for 3 months. I started it the other day with fresh gas and is getting flooded and idling rough. You can see crude gas in the water coming from the propeller.
I checked the 3 diaphragm pumps on the side and they are not leaking. I removed the intake cover, fuel rail with injectors and injectors are not the problem.
With the fuel rail and injectors removed, I primed the bulb for fuel and lots of fuel come rushing out of the lower intake hole.
Where is this fuel coming from ? Isnt fuel only supposed to come from the injectors or from leaking diaphragm pumps?
I need to know the source of this fuel. Please help me !!!!"
