"Can anyone please tell me what the propper lower unit gear oil should be for this motor?

will late model gear lube hurt anything?

works good, quart came with pump kit at Menard's for about $5. Don't forget to replace the drain and fill plug washers (got mine from boat store) and fill from the bottom plug."
