Has anyone ever saw the impell

Has anyone ever saw the impeller break away from the sleeve that slides on the shaft. I can hold the back piece where the four bolts off the cover go into and turn the impeller freely? It's like the impeller has unattached itself from the center sleeve. Has anyone ever saw this before?

"Some of the first gen "run-dry" impellers had issues. This may be one of those. If so, the company may warrantee it. (I've never used nor seen one up close.)

Pull the pump and give it a thurough inspection...... bearing, thrust surfaces and cam included.
Replace impeller with OEM or equivalent.
Go boating! "
