"Hello, my 1989 chev 350 with merc cr. has baffeled with a problem I have not been able to solve. It runs great for 30 to 45 minutes, under all conditions and then bucs a little and looses power and stops. It will flash up again in a few minutes and run for a short period and stop again. It is not fuel related, I have changed the filters and ran it off a seperated supply to elimated tank problems. It is not overheating, and all guages read normal.
I do not think it is the cap or wires or plugs, does not miss , just gives three or four bucs and stops either under plane or idle. Going to try a coil, any suggestions, has this happened to any one you know, thanks, help needed for long distance trip that is planned. SOUP"
