1986 mercruiser 4.3 2 brl. I would like to replace fuel pump filter but don't know where to get one. Also I need the clear plastic tubbing from pump to carb. thanks in advance for the help.

"This site sells the filters. the "sight tube" is tygon - the easiest way to get it is to go to a small engine shop (dealing with weed whackers, chain saws, etc). bring a piece of the old one to match the size....they use it as fuel line.

If there's fuel in that clear hose, its means your fuel pump diaphragm is rupture and you need the pump changed."
