"I just bought a swivel jack for my trailer -- I finally got tired of cranking the original (circa 1972) non-swivel one all the way up/down! Installation seems very simple, but does anyone have any tips or suggestions? Thanks!"

"Use anti-sieze so you can get it back off if you want to. Just make sure the bolts are tight.

Would also put marine grease on the big thread inside, and some in the bearings of the swivel wheel."

"Thanks William. This jack is pretty well sealed so you can't get to the internals without tearing it down pretty good, but it does have a grease nipple up near the top by where the handle attaches so that'll be my grease point for the thread inside.
