It has Electronic Ignition doe

It has Electronic Ignition does anybody know
if it has to be a Mechcanical advance if so
is it the rotor that snaps back as stated in
the Blog mine seems not to move at all ..

Ps I did Hit a Lobster Pot ?? chould that of Damaged somthing
 
"Yes it does have a mechanical

"Yes it does have a mechanical advance, and they love to stick. Put a timing light on it and buzz it to 3 grand in neutral. You should see the advance move several inches on the damper pulley. If not, pull the cap an "exercise" the advance mechanism but working the rotor back and forth for a few minutes. That cures mine. I also put a few drops of oil on the shaft just below the rotor.
