I have a 3.0 and one of the pi

I have a 3.0 and one of the pistons are ate up and busted around the top i think water got in on top of the piston and caused it and the pistons in it are .040 over and i cant find any .040 over for it i was wondering since the factor bore is 4" and a sbc 350 is a 4" bore also if i could use 350 .040 over pistons in my engine i was wondering if anyone has tried it and if my rods would work with the pistons also i can get pistons for a sbc alot cheaper then what i could for a 3.0

Nope,... You Can't use 350 parts building a 181....

Napa can get oversized pistons for a 3.0l..."

could u explain why u could not use them if everything measures the same and i have tried napa they could only get me .030 over pistons
