Default "it spits water from the vent

"it spits water from the vent at startup. sonetimes stops, i restart and it spits again. looks like a thermostat opening and closing. is there a safety devise that cuts the engine if it overheats. its also very hard to start from cold. not hard as in tight ie partially seized."

Default no termostat mounted! no safe

    no termostat mounted!
    no safetydevice installed!
    check for obstruction in circuit!
if hard to start in cold: starter is connected with peculiar yamaha system. check if starter valve moves correctly
