1981 270 crusader Elecrtrical issue

"Have issue, just removed engine and replaced seal in Trans, put back together and now have an issue with electrical. When I turn on any toggle switch on my dash, the tach and oil pressure gauge go all the way up and the item I turned on does not come on. when I turn the water pump on it only works very very slow. When I turn the key to on, all the battery items die out. Spen t 5 hours redoing the wires that I removed to take the engine out and cant seem to find the issue. Was fine before I started. Does anyone have clue or a wire diagram for a 1981 270 crusader?"

"check for the missing ground wire....I'd be one or more in the vicinity of the "bell housing" didn't get connected. Should be one around the circuit breaker/slave solenoid and the main ground wire "underneath" at the housing/block interface.

I checked my diagram - unfortunately, it does NOT show the locations of the ground wires."
