"Ok I have a 92 115 HP Mariner

"Ok I have a 92 115 HP Mariner, A couple of weeks ago I was in a cove fishing. Decided to come back to the docks and when I went to start it wouldn't do anything. I jumped started the motor at the starter soleniod, I was thinking it might have been the neutral safety switch because it did this once before.....but once I moved the throttle around the motor started. I replaced the neutral switch and still nothing. I tried to start again from starter solenoid and it would start just as easy as it always should....of course I don't want to start it that way more than I need to. Once I did start it that way, I shut it off and then tried to start it by the key and...NOTHING. I am so confused at what to look for to see what else could be the issue. Any help would be appreciated."

"Fiddling with the throttle co

"Fiddling with the throttle could indicate the neutral safety switch is shot again, or a bad key switch or a short on one of the wires in there. But it does sound fairly certain the issue is in the control."
