"I bought a new left over 2005 df90 and was wondering on the valve clearance check the boat and motor bought 350 miles away.I have been checking local suzuki dealers in LG NY area one doesn't have the shims in stock don't think ever did a 90 just small engines,another one said cost $250 about two hours labor not many dealers in my area.What should it should run in time and if it's necessary?"
