"I was out on the river yesterday and i started having problems putting the boat in gear. The motor started fine but when i went to engauge forward or reverse, the engine would die on me. I was thinking that the idle might be set just a little to low or that the ESA is going bad,(witch I have been thinking that this was going bad for some time now). Is there some way to override this to get me by or is there some way to check the switch to make sure that that is what is going wrong. Ive checked out previous posts on the ESA switches and got some good insite but i figured that i better ask and make for certain. And also, Where can i order a new switch and i wonder how much this little jewel is gonna cost me. Thanks in advance for any help that you guys can give me."
