"Been having trouble with this
"Been having trouble with this thing for a few months now. It started out that it would surge at high rpm's (3000-wot). Would loose 400 - 600 rpm's. Originally thought that I was loosing spark to a cylinder. Have changed all ignition components and still does the same thing. I have now discovered that I do infact have spark in all cylinders but I am fouling out the #2 spark plug. It has now gotten worse and it seems that I am getting no timing advance when t-shooting the tps. Tps shoots good by the yama manual. The other component in question is the knock sensor. Can someone shed some light on how to test the knock sensor and some approx. readings that I should be getting.
by the book it is checking bad, but the book is pretty vague on this component.
