I HAVE A PAIR OF 1987 270 HP'S WITH MALLORY SINGLE POINT DISTRIBUTORS. WHAT IS THE DWELL ANGLE AND TIMING SPECS. THEY ARE IN A 1987 SILVERTON 34
 
"point dwell on the v-8s = 30

"point dwell on the v-8s = 30 degrees

The flywheels should have the timing marks if they are original. Use the plug on the flywheel cover. should be ~ 8 degrees BTDC.

Don't forget, that spec was set pre-ethanol. you may have to adjust it based on load and fuel"
