after done trailering, un-screw the drain on carbs

does anybody know why ??"
 
"For starters... you want fue

"For starters... you want fuel in your float bowls while trailering. If empty your floats are not floating. They will be bouncing up and down and you might just knock the needle spring off the float. Second when you run the motor until it quits, you are still leaving fuel in the float bowl which can evaporate and cause you the problems you were trying to avoid in the first place."
