"Hi, I bought Chrysler 4.5hp model 42HA s#4601
I wondered if anyone knows the year of manufacture? Also, any hints where to find free manuals, maybe library?"
 
I recently bought a boat with

I recently bought a boat with a 85 Horsepower Force engine. The person I bought it from thinks its a 1988; but isn't sure where the Model number or serial number is located on the boat. does someone out there know where they're located.

"Don, the model and serial numbers for outboards are on the outboards not the boat, they are in a coupld different places depending on the engine, the force can be inside the engine cover riveted to the lower cowling or on the "swivel" bracket, on the starboard side of the engine."
