"had fresh water impeller key slip and motor got hot. Blown head gasket, upon removal found riser leaking water into back cylinder, rust in maninfold. Had heads rebuilt, resurfaced new riser and carbs vatted and rebuilt. Have put 1 inch riser on carbs and new plug wires big block chevy. Any special ideas for the break in, should I use any top cylinder lubricant to help break in the heads? Spray like marvel mystery oil into carb after motor is running and warmed up? Lots of work and don't want some friends of mine giving me grief that I should have hired it done. I can do about as well as the grease monkey, i hope."
