DF140 making a squealing noise at 1000 rpms

"can anyone help me my 2007 DF

"can anyone help me my 2007 DF140 is making a noise that sounds similar to a sqeeky belt or tenioner, i know it does'nt have any belts. noise seems to go away with higher rpms. the dealer is waiting for suzuki rep. and thinks it may be a air restriction issue. does anyone have any ideas"

thanks i thought it could be a bearing but the noise goes away when i raise or lower rpms. the dealer thinks it may be an air restriction and is waiting for suzuki to addvise
 
I had the same symptoms (s

I had the same symptoms (squeal at one RPM range)and it was the bushing on the driveshaft in the mid-unit. Turned it into toast and put a hole in the housing.
