"This engine has 125 lbs compression on each cylinder,except cyl #5 has 120.

I know the variation between cylinders should not be greater than 10%, but is 120 lb range considered to be good for this engine?

I just had my 95 Merc tested and it was 156 lb on all 4 cylinders."

"Yes, normaly they are around

"Yes, normaly they are around 150. This test was done just after I took it out of storage and for the winter I usually pull the fuel hose and squirt storage liquid into the carbs and then pull the plugs and give each cylinder a good shot."
