"Hi,
Boat is a 1996 Cruisers 3050 w/ (2) 350 motors and Volvo dual prop outdrives. One drive is stuck up in the trailer position and won't go down. The pump seems to be stuck in the 'on' position - it causes the circuit breaker to trip because it runs non-stop. I had to disconect engine batteries to get it to stop. Interestingly, holding down either the trailer or the trim switch for that motor will cause the pump to stop running. I did disconnect all wires on switches at the drivers console, but no change - the pump still runs. Any ideas? Any way to just get the drive down so I can use the boat?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Ron"

"I would start by locating the relays and pulling them out one at the time. At first glance, it would appear that the "up" relay is stuck for whatever reason. If the "up" and "down" relays are identical (not sure about your particular setup), swapping them will tell you if the problem is in the relay itself or in the wiring."
