"I've had this engine for my Dinghy about a year, and up until about a month ago I never had a problem with it. I always ran it until the gas was out of it and stored it in my house. The last 2 times it would start for a moment with the choke out and as I increased the throttle and pushed in the choke it died and would not start again. I checked the bulb and it was firm, and when I opened the cover to see what happened when I pulled the rope, I could see gas squirting out of a nozzle on the top of the carb, so I figured it was flooded. After about an hour and with the gas disconnected from the engine, it started with the choke in and ran until the gas was out of it, and then the same thing happened this last time. I replaced the fuel, fuel filter, spark plug, oil, and still can't figure this out. Should I squirt some carb cleaner in there? Don't really want to take it in so any ideas would be great!! HELP please.."
