I have a 2005 Yamaha 9.9 4 str
I have a 2005 Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke with maybe 10 hours on it. I changed the engine oil the other day and while running the motor in a test tank I noticed water is dripping out of the main engine oil plug. The oil plug is teflon with a brass bolt head in the middle. The water seeps around the teflon part of the plug. The old oil did not appear to have water in it. When I check the new oil with the dipstick it looks fine as well. Any ideas of what the problem may be?
