"On a Alpha 1 Gen 1 there is what seems to be a weep hole on starboard side of lower unit above the water intake and a little forward. My question is, is there supposed to be water streaming out of that hole with the water ears on and engine running? Is this a sign somthing is not right? When I put new waterpump housing on with all new gaskets it did not stop. I did not replace the lower housing of water pump.On the inside of the lower unit housing its a big open cavity were that weep hole is not far from pump. Wouldnt the pump housing have to be leaking for this to happen? My last Alpha 1, same year did not do this. Thanks"
