"What is the best type and weight oil for my 440 in an Arabian ski boat. I put on about 40 hrs a year. Motor has 40 hrs and totally reman. Damage will come from storage, I am sure"

"This comes up a lot. You should be looking for a racing or diesel oil that is NOT API 'SM'. New oils are not designed for your motor with flat tappet cams. Or you can add a cam break-in additive each time you change your oil.
