"Hello, my name is mike, , my question i have is, i have a 1985 bayliner capi 140 horse omc 4cy, my lower unit cracked and i want to purchase a used one, i found one but i dont know if it will fit, my model no is 983486 and serial no. j369180 the one i want to purchase is model no.985042 and serial no.t050667,i am almost positive mine is a cobra unit, it has name on plate omc on upper and omc stern drive letterd on lower unit, the one i would like to purchase is same measurement 4 1/8 and 18" 3/16, i also dont know what my gear ratio is, i belive 13:26 thats what glm product guide sugested, also i dont know the ratio of the one i would like to buy, he is selling me the complete drive for 500.00 i think it is a steal at tha price, can anyone help me? email me or phone 216-857-1082"
