DT115 1986. We have run the o

DT115 1986. We have run the oil reservoir on the motor down to about one third full. It is Castrol Super Outboard oil. We have now topped it up with Valvoline semi synthetic outboard oil.

Is this likely to cause any problems?

I'm no expert but everything that I have read and all of the boards and forums that I have seen say as long as it is TW-3 rated oil part of the speck is compatibility with other oils.
