I want to change the impeller

I want to change the impeller on my 502 CID Crusader closed cooling marine engines. Please let me know how to access the impellers. thanks
 
remove the pump AFTER closing

remove the pump AFTER closing sea cocks.

Remove cover from pump

Remove impeller.
 
Note carefully which way the v

Note carefully which way the vanes are twisted and install the new one the same way. I juice them with dish washing detergent to avoid damage on start up.
