How do you remove and replace

How do you remove and replace the pickup coil on the GM 4 cylinder EST distributors. It looks like it under a wheel with four towers. Thanks.

"1995 3.0L. Changed the cap and noticed lots of corrosion on the pickup. Cleaned it up some and now no fire. Tested bad according to the book, so ordered a new one and a ignition coil for good measure. Not sure whats holding the wheel thats on top of the pickup on the shaft."

"probably just corrosion, that wheel is the rotor, put a screwdriver under it and lever it up close to the shaft. It's a good idea to change a cap and rotor together, if only for remembering and rotor tips get worn and corroded."

"The seloc book calls it the pole piece. Doesn't give details of how to remove it though. I'm guessing you pry it off, but I don't want to break it or worse the distributor itself."
 
yea.. if your talking about #8

yea.. if your talking about #8 and need to remove the roll pin from the gear of the dist.
