"Hi I am looking for a little help. I have a 5.7 GL and have just started running again from last season. My problem is when I take the throttle foward initally the boat doesn't plane and the engine struggles to get above 3000 rpm. After 5-10 minutes the engine suddenly seems to get a boost and begins to plane and seems to run fine. I have done the obvious and cleaned the plugs, distributer, and fuel filter. I filled the tank to get rid of old fuel and am a little stuck what the problem could be. Also it doesn't seem choke related as removing the choke wires doesn't effect the problem and also the engine is nicley warmed up and still running bad until it randomly decides to pick up on power. Any help would be greatly appreciated."
