having a problem with the fuel

having a problem with the fuel not feeling like it is being completely pressurized when starting the boat after it sits for a little bit (hour or so) feeling at the siphon bubble that there is not much pressure in the line and the boat will stall if given too much throttle from the start. its about 6yrs old and thinking its time to replace the rubber fuel lines.

q. is there a specific type of hose required to use when replacing? best place to find them.
q. any info sites available for this?

"Just use the same size. Wal

"Just use the same size. Wal Mart sells a pretty good one, and cheap (like me).

PS: Be sure the hose is alcohol safe. Most are nowadays, but...."

q. does anything need to be d

q. does anything need to be done to depressurize the fuel lines? i've done auto fuel lines and know the fuel lines need to be ran dry before starting to remove anything on the fuel line. (ie disconnected the inertia switch and run the engine until it wont anymore)

q. is there such a switch on the boats?

The primer bulb that you squee

The primer bulb that you squeeze to prime the fuel up to the cabs goes hard but once the engine is running the fuel pump is sucking fuel so there is nolonger any pressure in the primer bulb or fuel line...maybe there is no problem
