"The young lad who bought my old 1990 four winns with the ford inline 4 cylinder just got around to firing it up with muffs. It started very quickly and he thought it sounded great. A short time later he noticed water coming out from under the valve cover. Replaced the gasket and he says it is running just fine with no more issues. Not to sound totally dumb but what would cause water to spray out of that area. I have winterized this same boat myself the past seven years with no issues but after hearing this, feel like I may have done something wrong last fall."
