"I talked to a friend the other day about my Bilge Pump. 40 year old unit, that I put a new impeller in. Sometimes the pump wont prime. Once it's primed, it works great. This fellow said to squirt some K-Y Jelly in the pump, and prime it. He did this with his, and it primes every time, non fail.
K-Y Jelly does NOT break down with water..hmmmmmm."
