I READ IN THIS FORUM ABOUT AN IGNITION PROBLEM OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT NEEDS REPLACING WHEN YOUR TACH QUITS WORKING FOR YOU? JUST STOPPED WORKING ON MY LAST TRIP.

Did you blow the fuse for the lighting circuit? If you shorted a wire while cleaning you may have blown the fuse for the boats nav lights. Check your fuse panel
